Comics are best shared live! Here's how I work with schools, libraries, and bookstores

Library and School Visits (K-12)

As an author-illustrator, I write and draw every page myself. I love bringing that process into the room — how a story starts as words and sketches and becomes a finished comic — so students see what it actually takes to merge writing and drawing into one story. They'll leave with a real look at how comics get made, and a reminder that their own stories are worth telling.

Comic + storytelling workshops (Kids and adults)

I lead virtual and hands-on workshops in visual storytelling, character design, and craft fundamentals like plotting and voice, drawing on my own experience as a working author-illustrator.

I tailor sessions for aspiring writers, illustrators, or mixed-experience groups, and I focus on practical tools people can use right away — not just inspiration. It's a great fit for schools, libraries, and conferences that want attendees to walk away with something they'll actually use.

Live readings (Kids and adults)

I bring my comics to life on the page and off it — reading straight from the material with narration, voices, and sound effects that turn a comic into a live performance. It's an engaging, high-energy way to introduce audiences to graphic storytelling, and it works well for library programs, classroom visits, and festival stages alike.

Note: I'm located in Austin, Texas, with same-day travel capabilities to DFW and Houston areas. Always happy to visit other states, but let's discuss details!
